a game that seeks to shed light on the history that made kagurasuzu the way he is and why he spent eons ruining lives of supposedly-good men knowing that no true good exists in the world (WHY DOES HE KNOW THIS?)
the only relationship to intimacy suzu has ever had is as a despair and a violence. whether he'll be able to cycle-break or not...is currently a universal unknown. (EVEN THE COSMOS COULDN'T TELL U!)
before he meets haruie lin, the only Good Man! (who is a girl)

oh wow this is absolutely incredible… the poetic cadence to the passages, the flickering aesthetic in navies and creams and crimsons, the 8-bit ost to accompany the lo-fi and pixelized aesthetic… stunning as always, of course. and how amazing the exploratory experience is here that captures that jumbled internality so many with deep trauma navigate, running through the various chambers of oneās heart, mind, and soul in a messy tangle of reminisce and regret. itās like a journal come to life, full of kagurasuzuās most tender spots.

Love love love the look of this! I think Decker is really good at capturing a kind of zine-like anything goes feeling where you can splinter off into all sorts of different pictures and rooms and dialogue, and this game is like the craziest version of that Iāve seen. Gotta play your other games. Great job!!!

Ooh man, I don't think I can pick a favorite but the exchange between suzu and haru and that whole page was *chef's kiss*, and "No matter what anyone says, it IS a sin to be a child", and the whole thing about the whipping girl were some of my tops!
